Your Role Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and complex clinical laboratory testsincluding chemistry, hematology, and immunologyfollowing established protocols diligently.
• Evaluate and interpret results for accuracy, address any discrepancies, and perform routine maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Assist with specimen collection procedures and prepare samples for testing as needed.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and help uphold the highest quality standards in the lab.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a relevant allied health qualification accompanied by preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) required within the first year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your tenure with us.
