Newborn Hospitalist – AdventHealth CelebrationAdventHealth for Children and AdventHealth Medical Group are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Newborn Hospitalist to join our growing team at AdventHealth Celebration. This position offers an exceptional work-life balance with a 7-on/7-off schedule, providing weekday coverage Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM during service weeks. The ideal candidate will have a passion for newborn medicine, family-centered care, and collaboration within a highly respected pediatric network.The Newborn Hospitalist will provide care for well newborns at AdventHealth Celebration and be assigned as a member of the neonatal team which includes neonatologist and neonatal practitioners. Work closely with obstetric, community pediatricians, and newborn nursing teams to ensure high-quality care throughout the newborn hospitalization.Responsibilities include:Newborn admissions, daily rounds, and discharge managementComprehensive well newborn care and family educationNewborn stabilization and coordination of transfers to higher levels of care when indicatedCollaboration with community pediatricians, nursing staff, and neonatal specialistsParticipation in quality and patient safety initiativesWhy AdventHealth for Children?AdventHealth for Children is consistently recognized as one of Florida's premier pediatric healthcare systems.
