Little Learner Children's Academy is looking for an enthusiastic, caring, and passionate Pre-K teacher to join our growing team! We're a family-owned and operated childcare center with a tight-knit team of dedicated early childhood professionals. Salary: Start from $18 per hour for qualified Teachers (based on education and experience)

Monday to Friday

Shifts from: 6:30am-6:00pm

Location: Positions available in Bolingbrook, Crest Hill, Minooka and Yorkville

Responsibilities:

• Create and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities.
• Foster children's social, emotional, cognitive and physical development.
• Create a classroom environment where children feel safe, supported, curious and excited to learn.
• Prepare and submit thoughtful, developmentally appropriate lesson plans.
• Observe and document children's growth and progress.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with families through open, honest and meaningful communication.

Job Requirements:

• Classroom teaching experience working with Pre-K, Kindergarten-1st grade
• Teacher qualifications from the state of Illinois per DCFS Standards
• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field
• Experience working in a licensed childcare facility (preferred)
• A passion for working with children
