Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Winston Manor – Chicago, IL

Winston Manor is seeking compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our nursing team. Our LPNs play an important role in providing quality, resident-centered care while working collaboratively with CNAs, RNs, nursing leadership, physicians, behavioral health professionals, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.

Full-time and part-time opportunities are available across AM, PM, and NOC shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and appropriate nursing care to residents

• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies

• Monitor residents and promptly report significant changes in condition

• Respond appropriately to resident medical and behavioral health needs

• Complete accurate and timely nursing documentation

• Assist with the development and implementation of individualized resident care plans

• Supervise and appropriately delegate responsibilities to CNAs

• Communicate effectively with residents, physicians, nursing leadership, and members of the interdisciplinary team

• Collaborate with Social Services, behavioral health, Activities, Dietary, and other departments

• Assist with admissions, transfers, and other resident-care processes as assigned

• Maintain resident dignity, privacy, safety, and quality of care

• Follow facility policies, infection-control practices, and applicable regulatory requirements

• Perform additional nursing duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Illinois

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program

• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills

• Ability to supervise and appropriately delegate to nursing staff

• Compassionate, dependable, and professional approach to resident care

• ICF, behavioral health, long-term care, or related nursing experience preferred

• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team

• Must meet applicable health and background requirements

Schedule

Available shifts include:

• AM: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

• PM: 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM

• NOC: 12:00 AM – 8:30 AM

• Full-time and part-time opportunities available

• Weekend and holiday availability may be required based on facility needs
