Job Description As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol in Westfield, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, agile, reliable, innovative team that delivers with integrity. Position Type Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PMThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You\'ll Do Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials and authorizations as directed, and maintain accurate logs and documentation. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required reports. Observe and report conditions that may impact operations, including unsecured doors, restricted-area access concerns, and equipment or property irregularities. Minimum Requirements Be at least 21 years of age. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Prior access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
