Our client is a locally based 40-year, family-owned wholesale and retail manufacturer specializing in custom building materials based in North Gwinnett, GA who prides itself on delivering high quality customer service, precision craftsmanship, and friendly knowledgeable staff.

We are seeking a skilled Accounting Assistant Invoicing & Reconciliation to join the accounting team. This position will focus primarily on daily invoicing, reviewing and reconciling completed work to ensure all jobs are accurately captured and billed and assisted with accounts payable entry.

Essential Duties

• Daily invoicing
• Reviewing and reconciling calendars to ensure all completed work is captured and billed
• Entering and processing some accounts payable
• Maintaining accurate accounting records and data
• Working across SAGE Peachtree, A+W glass industry software, and jobCORE
• Learning and adapting to the newly implemented jobCORE accounting system

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new accounting software and systems
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and responsibilities simultaneously
• Ability to remain professional, patient, and composed in a fast-paced work environment
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with different personalities and departments
