Personal Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers to join our team in Pontiac, MI. As a Personal Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. This role requires a patient and empathetic individual who can deliver high-quality, personalized care in a respectful and professional manner. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and support to enhance clients’ emotional well-being.
• Help with mobility and transfers to ensure client safety.
• Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members.
• Maintain detailed records of care provided and client progress.
• Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and safety guidelines set forth by University Home Care Inc.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker or in a related caregiving role is preferred.
• Valid certification or training for Personal Support Work is an asset.
• Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients, families, and team members.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Must be able to pass background checks.
