Electrical Engineer I (Onsite)

Location US-RI-PORTSMOUTH-PS3 ~ 1847 W Main Rd ~ NIMITZ WEST BLDG Position Title Electrical Engineer I – Full‑time, Onsite – Undersea & Electronics Systems Department Responsibilities Perform technical design experience in Analog, Digital, Mixed Signal, or Power Design. Support the factory and suppliers with product integration. Collaborate across multiple disciplines/functions to solve complex technical challenges in a fast‑paced team environment. Validate design functionality by rapid prototyping and/or simulation. Participate in design peer reviews, resolve action items, and conduct trade studies to make sound technical decisions. Occasional CONUS travel to customer sites or suppliers is generally required; international and longer‑duration travel assignments are available but optional. Qualifications – Must Have Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (STEM). Technical design experience in Analog, Digital, Mixed Signal, or Power Design. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required. Qualifications – Preferred Experience in the specification, design, development, production, and testing of undersea systems and electronics packaging. Knowledge of design for long‑term submergence, sealing, and corrosion resistance. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience on DoD programs.
