Tech - Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Cath Lab/EP Tech to support the cardiovascular catheterization and electrophysiology procedures. The candidate will work within the hospital's specialized cardiac units, providing technical expertise and support for diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and operate advanced Cath Lab and EP equipment for cardiovascular procedures.
Assist physicians during catheterizations, electrophysiology studies, and ablations.
Ensure sterile field setup and adherence to infection control protocols.
Monitor patient vitals and manage documentation during procedures.
Maintain equipment functionality and troubleshoot technical issues promptly.
Adhere to safety protocols and uphold regulatory compliance standards.

Qualifications:

Valid state license as a Cardiovascular Tech or relevant certification at the time of submission.
Proven experience working in a Cath Lab and EP environment for at least 2 years.
Strong understanding of cardiac procedures, instrumentation, and protocols.
Ability to operate and troubleshoot specialized cardiology equipment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with medical staff.
BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.
