Rockford Health Care Center is seeking an experienced, driven, and people-focused Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead our skilled nursing community in Rockford, Ohio.

What You'll Do

As the Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, you will provide overall leadership and operational oversight for Rockford Health Care Center.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide day-to-day leadership and direction for all facility operations

• Build, develop, and retain a strong interdisciplinary leadership team

• Partner closely with the Director of Nursing to support exceptional clinical outcomes and quality of care

• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing skilled nursing facilities

• Promote survey readiness and a culture of continuous quality improvement

• Monitor key operational, clinical, financial, staffing, and census metrics

• Develop strategies to improve employee engagement, retention, and overall workplace culture

• Support census growth through strong relationships with residents, families, referral partners, and the surrounding community

• Oversee facility budgets, labor management, expenses, and overall financial performance

• Establish clear expectations and accountability across departments

• Ensure resident and family concerns are addressed professionally and promptly

• Maintain a visible presence throughout the facility and build meaningful relationships with residents and employees

• Partner with regional and corporate leadership to identify opportunities for continued operational improvement

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will be a confident and approachable leader who can combine strong operational knowledge with genuine compassion for residents and employees.

Qualifications include:

• Current Ohio Nursing Home Administrator license in good standing required

• Previous Nursing Home Administrator or skilled nursing leadership experience strongly preferred

• Strong understanding of skilled nursing operations and regulatory compliance

• Knowledge of CMS requirements, survey processes, quality measures, and Life Safety expectations

• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop department managers

• Strong financial and operational management skills

• Experience with census development, staffing, employee retention, and quality improvement

• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to establish accountability while maintaining a positive and collaborative culture

• Commitment to resident-centered care and exceptional customer service
