Registered Nurse (RN) - Recovery Wellness

Bring your passion to Texas Health So We Are Better + Together! Work location: Addiction Recovery Center, 240 North Miller Road Mansfield, TX 76063 Work hours: Part time, Monday-Thursday, 8:00a - 1:00p Department highlights:

Qualifications Here's What You Need:

Nursing Diploma required OR Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program required
BSN preferred
BCLS prior to hire
BCPMHN upon hire required
ACPI (30 days within hire)
One-year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program required
One year of Behavioral Health experience strongly preferred
RN must practice within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act, serve as a role model, intra/interdisciplinary collaborator, and coordinator for quality patient care

What You Will Do:

Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
Assess the patient
Plan for the care of the patient
Interventions as appropriate
Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions
Incorporate age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care
Initiate action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
Maintain continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers
