Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in New York
• American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates actively pursuing CCC
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with a pediatric or school-aged population preferred
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and related service providers

Responsibilities:

• Screen, assess, and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy objectives
• Deliver direct therapy services to students, using evidence-based clinical practices
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff
• Maintain thorough, compliant documentation and reporting
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
