Record Center Specialist

Midway Staffing is hiring Record Center Specialists in Kent, WA. This is a hands-on, physically active position involving the handling, organization, and movement of records and storage materials.

Location: Kent, WA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $18.00/hour

Duties:

• Move, arrange, lift, and load boxes, bins, totes, and records weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Process incoming and outgoing orders and accurately read labels and track records.
• Operate hand carts, pallet jacks, handheld scanners, and computer systems to move and track materials.
• Load and shrink-wrap pallets and assist with loading materials onto trucks.
• Organize and safely move records, files, books, binders, and other materials.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area.

Requirements:

• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 100 lbs. independently.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, kneel, stoop, twist, and reach for extended periods.
• Ability to safely operate hand carts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment.
• Ability to read and write English and follow work instructions.
• Ability to work safely on concrete and uneven surfaces, inclines, stairs, and varying elevations.
• Must have protective safety-toe footwear with a slip-resistant rating of “Better” or “Best.”
