As a web development intern at Deksia, you'll gain hands‑on experience supporting website maintenance and updates for multiple clients in an agency setting. Daily tasks include making updates to client websites using page builders and CMS platforms, developing email templates and landing pages, and managing content across websites and marketing channels. You may also have the opportunity to collaborate with other interns on projects designed to simulate real client work from start to finish. Note: This role focuses on visual website building, content management, and light custom code—not software engineering or application programming. You’ll work alongside our web development team and collaborate with operations team members across departments to help implement impactful web strategies for our clients. Need More Incentive? Bonus if you can jump into HTML/CSS to make tweaks when needed. Basic HTML & CSS Knowledge You don’t need to be a programmer, but you should understand how to read and edit basic code to customize templates and troubleshoot issues. Eye for Design You notice when something looks “off” and care about clean layouts, typography, and user experience. Creative Problem Solving Web work isn’t always straightforward. You’re ready to Google, experiment, and figure things out in this ever‑changing digital landscape. Strong Communication Skills You can clearly communicate with team members and understand client needs to avoid errors and missed deadlines.
