We are looking for caring and dependable individuals to join our team as State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) . In this essential role, you will provide hands-on care and emotional support to residents, helping them with daily living activities and contributing to a safe, clean, and compassionate environment. Qualifications

·         Must have successfully completed a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) program.

Key Responsibilities

·         Provide hygiene assistance to residents

·         Assist residents with feeding and daily living needs

·         Perform basic treatments and procedures as directed by the charge nurse

·         Observe and report residents’ psycho-social and emotional needs

·         Notify the Charge Nurse of any changes in residents’ conditions

·         Maintain a clean and neat personal appearance

·         Demonstrate respectful and professional behavior toward co-workers and facility contacts

·         Use nursing home equipment properly and safely

·         Follow OSHA guidelines for handling and storing chemicals and equipment

·         Attend required in-service training programs

·         Assist in other areas as directed by the Director of Nursing

Physical Requirements

·         Ability to stand for extended periods

·         Lift up to 50 pounds

·         Frequent bending, turning, pushing, and pulling

·         Use of both hands and arms

·         Exposure to odors, body secretions, and excrements

·         Potential exposure to behavioral disorders

·         Must be able to manage interpersonal conflicts effectively
