DSP: Direct Support Professional

Direct Support Professional $17.30 - $18.30 per hour At ViaQuest Residential Services, our DSPs provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in intermediate care facilities and their homes. Training for this position is provided in its entirety, so no experience is required . Responsibilities Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities – our goal is to foster increased independence, choice and empowerment while assuring that their health and safety needs are being met at all times. Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of their life. Completing various household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe living environment. Providing personal care assistance. Requirements At least 18 years of age. High school diploma or GED is required. Personal, reliable vehicle that you are willing and able to use to transport individuals served. Valid OH driver’s license and car insurance.
