We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Maintenance Technician I to join Siena Village in Wayne, NJ. Siena Village is a vibrant community for adults 62 and older and is designed to meet the needs of active, independent seniors on fixed incomes by offering low-income, moderate-income, and market-rate apartments in an attractive, secure, and social environment. The Maintenance Technician I oversees daily building operations on the Siena Village campus, ensuring the maintenance, safety, and functionality of all physical plant systems. This role includes managing maintenance repairs and executing capital projects. The Maintenance Technician I ensures regulatory compliance with NFPA, OSHA, NJHFMA, DCA and Fair Housing standards, and leads strategic planning for long-term infrastructure improvements. Technical expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems is essential. Strong communication skills are required. Demonstrates compliance with the CHASPIRE Standards of Performance.

Schedule: 8am - 4pm, Monday - Friday and Every Other Weekend.

Education: High School or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications/Requirements

Demonstrates compliance with the CH ASPIRE Standards of Performance.

Qualifications/Special Skills:

• Must have valid driver's license.
• Three (3) years or more experience in a building maintenance role as a Maintenance Technician.
• General knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical repairs, HVAC systems, and carpentry required.
• Understands and practices wiring methods as per N.F.P.A. 70.
• Familiar with N.F.P.A. article 700 Emergency Systems and OSHA Regulations.
• Basic computer knowledge required.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, and Teams to support daily communication, documentation, scheduling, and team collaboration.
