Emergency Department RN

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM, including Every Other Weekend (EOW) and Every Other Holiday (EOH) per department rotation.

The Emergency Department RN will provide high-quality and compassionate care to patients in the emergency setting. This role involves assessing patient needs, providing emergency care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver timely and effective treatment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients in emergency situations.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to create and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN license required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are mandatory.
• Experience in emergency nursing preferred.
• No local contracts; candidates must be located 75+ miles away.
