Duct Installer

Location: West Monroe, LA


Pay Rate: $12.00 - $15.00 per Hour (DOE)


Schedule: 8- to 12-Hour Workdays


Job Responsibilities

• Read and accurately use a tape measure.
• Lay out fittings and ductwork, including locating and marking dimensions and reference lines on sheet metal, duct board, flex duct, and duct pipe.
• Install and assemble duct systems according to project specifications.
• Set up and operate soldering and welding equipment to join copper tubing.
• Assist with fabrication and installation of HVAC duct components.
• Follow all company safety procedures and job site requirements.

Requirements

• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• Comfortable working in hot environments and varying weather conditions.
• Ability to climb ladders and work in confined or tight spaces when needed.
• Willingness to travel locally as required (travel time is compensated).
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Previous duct installation, HVAC, construction, or related experience is preferred.
