Dance Teacher

Job Details Job Location: Westport, CT 06880 Position Type: Part Time Position Summary (2-3 sentences): Lead structured dance classes, teach proper dance technique, ensure safety of dancers and choreograph for year-end performance Duties and Responsibilities Deliver a fun, creative and energetic dance class to students Ability to explain choreography and terminology to their audience in a way that is understood Qualifications (Include education, years’ experience and technical requirements if needed) Must have previous experience teaching dance to youth/adults Must be able to structure and design a class suitable for their audience Must be enthusiastic and engaging Must have the ability to interact well with children YMCA Competencies (Leader) Mission Advancement Accepts and demonstrates the Y’s values.
