C++ Software Engineer Onsite - Atlanta, GA or Dallas, TX Interview - 2 rounds , 1 video and another onsite About the Role We're seeking experienced C++ Software Engineers with strong MFC, Win32, and Linux expertise to join NCR Voyix, a leader in the financial services space. This is an exciting opportunity to design, develop, and support enterprise-grade solutions in a fast-paced Agile environment. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and enhance product features, including technical documentation. Build and execute unit tests; ensure high-quality, reliable software. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in released applications. Participate in Agile ceremonies (scrum, sprint planning, estimates). Mentor team members and perform code/test reviews. Drive issue resolution and contribute to release management. Required Skills Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, CIS, MIS, or equivalent experience. 5+ years C++ (Windows, MFC, Win32, C++11 and above) . 3+ years Python development. Strong OOP, debugging, and troubleshooting skills. Test-first mindset with unit testing frameworks (Google Test, cppUnit, etc.). Test automation using Cucumber, Behave, Gherkin . Networking & TCP/IP socket-level communications. Experience mentoring peers on software engineering best practices. Agile development experience. Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.) . Strong written/verbal communication; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Nice to Have Java, .NET development experience. Retail/Convenience Store industry and POS systems experience. Payments domain (processors, devices). Cloud development (Azure, AWS, GCP). High-volume, high-availability systems. PCI compliance, secure development, data encryption techniques.
