This short-term contract (June 1-26, 2026) is a unique chance to support a young student with Infantile Neuroaxonal Dystrophy (INAD). Working on-site from 8am to 3pm, you'll join a diverse educational community while expanding your clinical expertise in pediatric care and school nursing. Exposure to new workplace practices and collaboration with local education professionals will enrich your skills and add depth to your resume.


Qualifications/Requirements:

• Active RN license in NJ
• Prior pediatric experience required
• School nursing experience preferred
• Skilled in NG-tube management (Student has NG, not G-tube)
• Physical ability to lift and transport a non-ambulatory child (~24 lbs)
• Willingness to assist with bussing and student transport
• Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized nursing care and health monitoring during school hours and on the bus
• Administer NG-tube feedings, medication, and daily health assessments
• Ensure safety and comfort during transitions and transport
• Document health information and collaborate with educators and therapists
• Serve as a health resource and advocate for the student
