Operating Room (OR) Open Heart (OH) RN position in Santa Monica, California. This role involves providing specialized cardiac surgical care within an acute care hospital setting. • Required Qualifications: California license must be in hand; minimum 2 years of experience in cardiac OR, trauma Level I and II experience, community hospital setting preferred, travel experience required, Epic charting system experience required, BCLS certification required, CA license required
• Certifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
• Schedule: Includes 2 primary weekday calls (2230-0600) in a 6-week call cycle, 2 secondary weekday calls (2230-0600), 2 primary weekend calls (12-hour shifts, 0630-1900 or 1830-0600), and 2 secondary weekend calls (12-hour shifts, 0630-1900 or 1830-0600). Up to 2 weekend shifts per month.
• Additional Information: Effective communication devices will be supplied if required. Travelers must float between all facilities within California as needed. Commitment to working three of five major holidays is required, with RTO requests to be included at submission.
• Submission Requirements: Response to questions regarding prior work at Providence facilities, recent LA fire card, two references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within last 3 years, and inclusion of RTO at submission.
• Other: COVID-19 vaccination not required, Flu vaccine status unknown, must include references, and comply with all confidentiality and operational guidelines.
