HR ManagerAtWork Durant is currently seeking an experienced HR Manager for a manufacturing facility in the Durant, OK area! Position: HR Manager Salary: $50,000–$60,000 per year, based on experience Location: Durant, OK Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–FridayPOSITION OVERVIEWWe are looking for a hands-on, dependable HR professional who can manage the day-to-day Human Resources functions within a busy manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working directly with employees, supervisors, and management while helping maintain a productive, compliant, and positive workplace.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESOversee daily HR operations for the manufacturing facilityManage the full recruiting and hiring process, including job postings, interviewing, selection, and onboardingConduct new-hire orientation and ensure employees complete all required paperwork and trainingMaintain accurate and confidential employee personnel files and HR recordsHandle employee relations issues, workplace concerns, attendance issues, and disciplinary actionsWork closely with supervisors and department managers on employee performance and staffing needsAssist with payroll and timekeeping processesCoordinate benefits administration and assist employees with benefit-related questionsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and company employment policiesHelp develop and enforce company policies and proceduresSupport employee retention and engagement initiativesTrack attendance, turnover, staffing levels, and other HR-related informationAssist with investigations and documentation of workplace incidentsSupport safety programs and work closely with management to promote a safe manufacturing environmentMaintain compliance with OSHA and other applicable workplace regulationsProvide guidance to management regarding employee policies, performance, and HR best practicesQUALIFICATIONSPrevious experience as an HR Manager, HR Generalist, or similar HR leadership positionManufacturing or industrial HR experience strongly preferredStrong understanding of employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, and HR complianceExperience handling employee disciplinary actions and performance issuesStrong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practicesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee informationAbility to work independently while also partnering effectively with managementSafety/OSHA experience is a plusHR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR is a plusWHAT WE’RE LOOKING FORThe ideal candidate will be a hands-on HR professional who is comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and can balance employee needs with the operational goals of the company.
