System Analyst

BEPC is actively looking for Systems Analyst 3, in Austin, TX area!

W2 Contract – 12 months with possible extensions!

Pay Rate: $96.00 - $99.00 /hour - Determined based on experience (Paid Weekly)

Work Model: Remote (Within Texas) – Monday through Friday during normal business hours

Summary of the Role:

BEPC is seeking a highly motivated Systems Analyst 3 to join our client’s site in Austin, TX. This role will support enterprise application administration, system configuration, CAPPS HR/PY operations, PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 support, production support activities, incident management, project management initiatives, security compliance, service management processes, and strategic roadmap development within a large-scale statewide ERP environment.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support CAPPS HR/PY operations in PeopleSoft HCM 9.2.
• Perform system configuration changes and enhancements.
• Provide Tier 2 Service Desk support for a large network of agencies.
• Support Priority 1 and Priority 2 incidents through Major Incident Management (MIM) processes.
• Participate in Disaster Recovery exercises and recovery planning activities.
• Create and manage strategic roadmaps through planning, functional analysis, and cross-functional communication.
• Perform functional project management activities supporting enterprise programs.
• Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations.
• Gather, analyze, and present data for audits and open records requests.
• Interpret contractual requirements and ensure vendor accountability.
• Perform SQL-related activities to maintain synchronization between enterprise systems.
• Prepare WCAG 2.1-compliant materials for distribution.
• Apply ITIL principles and best practices for IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM).

Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience with State of Texas applicable policies.
• 15 years of experience with federal labor laws.
• 15 years of experience with App Designer, Integration Broker, SQR/SQL, BI Publisher, SAP Business Objects, and related technologies.
• 12 years of experience performing system configuration changes.
• 12 years of experience with security best practices, NIST standards, and multi-tenancy concepts in ERP environments.
• 10 years of Texas public sector experience supporting or working with 30 or more Texas state agencies.
• 10 years of experience creating and managing strategic roadmaps.
• 10 years of experience supporting CAPPS HR/PY in PeopleSoft HCM 9.2.
• 10 years of experience with PUM, Fluid, and Elastic Search.
• 10 years of functional project management experience.
• 10 years of Tier 2 Service Desk support experience.
• 10 years of experience supporting Priority 1 and Priority 2 incidents.
• 10 years of experience participating in Disaster Recovery exercises.
• 10 years of experience preparing and presenting executive-level presentations.
• 10 years of experience supporting audits and open records requests.
• 10 years of experience interpreting contractual language and ensuring vendor compliance.
• 10 years of SQL experience supporting enterprise system synchronization.
• 8 years of experience preparing WCAG 2.1-compliant materials.
• 3 years of knowledge of ITIL principles and practices related to ITSM and ITAM.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 10 years of experience with production support activities for legacy Statewide Financial Systems.
