Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean and Maintain Public Areas: Sweep, mop, wax, and polish all public area floors (lobbies, hallways, stairwells).
• Dust and Spot Clean: Dust furniture, fixtures, mirrors, and high-dust areas in common spaces and guest corridors.
• Manage Linens and Supplies: Collect and deliver soiled linen to the laundry and restock clean linen, towels, and guest amenities in storage areas and on guest room attendant carts.
• Waste Removal: Collect trash from floors and around property, and dispose of it properly in designated dumpsters.
• Support Housekeeping Staff: Assist housekeepers with room turnover by preparing rooms, and support the team during peak times or staff shortages.
• Minor Maintenance: Report and/or perform minor maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs or addressing minor clogs.
• Guest Service: Respond to guest requests, such as delivering extra amenities, and maintain a professional and helpful attitude.

Requirements and Qualifications

• • Experience: Previous housekeeping or public area cleaning experience is an asset.
  • Physical Demands:
    • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds.
    • Ability to stand, walk, and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
