Clinical Pharmacist

Clinical Pharmacist Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Hours: 40 hours/week Contract: 6 Months Time Zone Flexibility: Candidates can sit anywhere in the US Duties Review medication requests to determine clinical appropriateness and safety Assess patient medical history, drug interactions, and potential adverse effects Perform clinical interventions and provide medication recommendations Collaborate with healthcare providers regarding appropriate medication use Utilize analytics to identify medication trends, safety concerns, and cost-saving opportunities Ensure alignment on intervention direction, enhancements, and clinical outcomes Requirements Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited college Active Pharmacy (RPh) license in good standing Minimum 2+ years of pharmacist experience Strong analytical, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience with clinical intervention, medication review, and provider collaboration Preferred Qualifications Managed Care, PBM, Prior Authorization, or Utilization Review experience Experience reviewing medication appropriateness and drug interactions Workers Compensation or injured worker population experience preferred Candidates with several years of clinical pharmacist experience strongly preferred Strong collaboration and remote work capabilities
