Role Description The Wealth Management Advisor is a full-time, hybrid role based in Saratoga Springs, NY, with flexibility for some work from home. In this role, the advisor will meet with clients to assess their financial goals, analyze current financial situations, and develop tailored strategies across areas such as retirement planning, investment management, and wealth preservation. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and maintaining client relationships, preparing and presenting financial plans, monitoring portfolios, and adjusting strategies as market conditions or client needs change. The advisor will collaborate with internal resources to leverage the firm's product and service offerings, while staying informed about financial regulations and market developments. The role also involves prospecting new clients, participating in community and networking activities, and maintaining accurate records in compliance with industry standards. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Financial Planning skills, including the ability to analyze client situations and create comprehensive strategies. Candidates should possess expertise in Retirement Planning to help clients prepare for and manage income needs throughout retirement. Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Investments to construct, monitor, and adjust diversified portfolios aligned with client risk profiles. Candidates should possess a strong foundation in Finance and Wealth Management Services to advise on asset protection, tax-aware strategies, and long-term wealth accumulation. Relevant licenses (such as FINRA securities registrations and state insurance licenses) or willingness and ability to obtain them within a defined timeframe. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills, with a client-centric and ethical approach. Ability to work independently, manage multiple client engagements, and use financial planning software and CRM tools effectively.
