Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 2 years of direct RN Operating Room experience required; strong robotics, ortho, and neuro experience required. License: Must possess a valid nursing license. Certifications: ACLS, BLS (must have at time of submission), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start). Must-Have: Must be nicotine-free; negative 10 panel drug screen required. Description: The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. Candidates must have 2 years of direct RN Operating Room experience. Experience with robotics, orthopedic procedures, and neurological procedures is strongly preferred. First-time travelers are accepted for this role. On-call requirement includes 1 shift per week and 2 weekend shifts per month. The nurse manager will discuss specifics during the interview process. The clinician will be expected to float within scope to meet facility needs. Candidates should prioritize completing time-sensitive modules promptly once confirmed for the assignment. All time off requests must be submitted upfront; additional requests may not be approved later. This facility is smoke-free, and all travelers must be nicotine-free without exceptions. The flu vaccine and COVID-19 vaccine are required, with medical or religious exemptions only. Travelers must have 2 references from direct supervisors or managers from within the last 18 months. The facility does not accept any license hits. Candidates must be willing to participate in training for students and new staff. Modules are required and completed before the start date and annually thereafter, varying by specialty. Modules are recorded for compliance purposes.
