This is your opportunity to join a global technology company, driving energy innovation for a balanced planet.**What’s In It For You:*** Thrive in a company that values sustainability, drives a safety-focused culture, and empowers through continuous improvement* The support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives, and ideas to achieve our best* Comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company matching and more!**What you will do:*** Sets up and operates CNC lathes to perform threading operations on experimental, individual or quantity parts or rods.* Selects mounts and aligns various machine attachments, standard or improvised tooling.* Sets and adjusts speeds, feeds, and depths of cuts where applicable.* May be required to edit programs.* Conducts inspection to ascertain threaded rods meet Norris and/or API specifications using various precision and non-precision instruments, templates and go/no-go gauges.* Records inspection data for purposes of maintaining statistical information.* May be required to attach protector in coupling and/or attach coupling on rod end to proper tightness.* Monitors feed table and straighten improperly placed rods.* Performs routine maintenance on the equipment including cleaning, adjusting and maintaining proper fluid levels and filters.* Maintains a clean and orderly work area.* May be assigned other duties as required.**Minimum Qualifications:*** Four years of directly related experience.* HS Diploma or GED equivalent**Physical Demands:** (if applicable)* Role is deemed safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.* Continuous standing.* Frequent walking, pounding, occasional bending, and using whipping action to untangle rods.* Personal Protective Equipment is required including hard hats, safety glasses and steel toed footwear.* Lifts/carry 50 pounds occasionally, frequently 33 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly.**About Us:**ChampionX is now part of SLB, a global technology company driving energy innovation for a balanced planet.
