Physical Therapist (Outpatient Rehab)

Rio Vista PT clinic is a busy orthopedic clinic that is seeking an experienced therapist with preference for manual therapy skills/ dry needling/ orthopedic skills and/or vestibular skills

Position Purpose

Physical Therapist (Outpatient Rehab) - Develop individualized plans of care for patients, outlining the patients' goals and the expected outcomes of the plans. Use exercises, stretching maneuvers, hands-on therapy, and equipment to ease patients' pain, help them increase their mobility, prevent further pain or injury, and facilitate health and wellness.

What you will do:

• Evaluates and re-evaluates referred patients ability to perform functional skills and plans a treatment program designed to meet identified goals.
• Initiates communication with physicians and other professionals to ensure coordination of treatment efforts. Contacts family members and outside agents. Maintains ongoing communication with immediate Supervisor, subordinates, and peers.
• Demonstrates skills and knowledge necessary to assure assessment, treatment, and care is appropriate to the age of the patients served
• Performs other job-related duties within job scope as requested by Supervisor
• On-on-One care - No overlapping of patients

Minimum Qualifications:

• * Graduate of Accredited School of Physical Therapy is required. Licensure: * Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Florida is required.
