MAINTENANCE MANAGER

Job Summary The Maintenance Manager manages and directs the daily maintenance activities within the manufacturing plant. This includes supervising the maintenance team, ensuring the timely repair and preventive maintenance of equipment, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The role demands an emphasis on safety, efficiency, and coordination with other departments to ensure uninterrupted production. Qualified candidates will have 10+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing/heavy industrial environment. Relocation assistance available. Location: Ft Wayne, Indiana. Job type: Permanent. Salary: $120,000 - 160,000 per year. Work hours: 8am to 4pm. Education: High School. Responsibilities Oversee the maintenance and repair of all machinery, equipment, and systems within the facility. Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to minimize unplanned downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues promptly to avoid production delays. Lead, supervise, and develop the maintenance team, including technicians, electricians, and other skilled trades. Collaborate with the production and engineering departments to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting production. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of the maintenance processes and equipment.
