Travel RN – Progressive Critical Care (Nights)

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to medically complex and surgically delicate patients in a Progressive Critical Care Unit, with an average load of 3 high-acuity patients
• Manage patients presenting with respiratory failure, sepsis, closed head injuries, multi-system organ dysfunction, endocrine disorders, complex traumas, and surgical complications
• Administer and titrate advanced drips including antihypertensives, sedatives, Narcan, thrombolytics, and vasopressors per established protocols
• Monitor and manage advanced hemodynamic lines including arterial lines, CVP, and EVD
• Operate and manage respiratory support equipment including HFNC, BiPAP/CPAP, and oxygen-dependent devices
• Adhere to infection prevention protocols and orthopedic traction care standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a PCU, IMC, or Step-Down setting
• Current ACLS certification
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Competency in advanced hemodynamic monitoring and vasopressor titration protocols
• Must complete a required competency test within 24 hours of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a large-scale adult PCU environment
• Background in a community hospital ICU setting
• Familiarity with EVD management and orthopedic traction care
