About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP, Government Partnerships to play a pivotal role in establishing its first Public Sector practice. This foundational hire will be responsible for a broad range of activities, including business development, relationship management with government stakeholders and prime contractor partners, capture strategy, and proposal development. The successful candidate will be expected to operate across the full growth lifecycle, with a focus on the Department of Veterans Affairs and HHS OpDivs. Key responsibilities include building and sustaining relationships, tailoring business strategies to distinct missions and buyer profiles, and driving the capture and proposal process to support the company's entry into the federal market. Applicants for the VP, Government Partnerships role at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in federal business development, capture management, proposal management, or account management, with a strong preference for those with direct exposure to VA and/or HHS. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record of building and sustaining relationships, strong written communication skills, and the ability to operate across the full BD-to-close lifecycle. A BA or BS degree is required, and a background in healthcare, health IT, or benefits administration is preferred. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, self-directed, and capable of operating with minimal oversight in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
