About the Role:

As a Foreman at EnerVest, you will supervise a crew of field employees and/or contract staff and direct day‐to‐day activities. Areas of supervision may include drilling, frac, drillouts, workovers, plug and abandon operations, or a combination of the aforementioned. 

Responsibilities:

• Provide day to day onsite supervision of drilling, completion, workover, and P&A activities
• Generate and/or monitor daily activity reports 
• Establish and execute daily priorities for assigned area through the management of Company employees and coordination of contractors
• Ensure all environmental and safety compliance issues are met
• Foster a team environment focused on learning and continuous improvement
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to operate a computer
• 5+ years of field experience in drilling and/or completions
• Prior experience leading a team

Preferred qualifications

• Experience supervising the drilling of vertical wells on air/foam
• Experience supervising the fracking of vertical wells, especially with nitrogen foam
• Experience with Coal bed methane (CBM) wells
• Workover and P&A experience

Working Conditions and Requirements:

• Position will require working in conditions of extreme heat and cold, high noise levels, poor ventilation, and fumes and gases that will require personal protective equipment and training.
• Employee will be required to safely operate a motor vehicle, day or night, and at times under adverse weather conditions.
• Primarily a field based position, office time will be <50%
• Must be able to negotiate ladders, stairs and terrain with varying grades.
• Must be physically fit to lift 50 pounds from pick-up bed.
• Must be able to operate company vehicles and company equipment for 8-12 hours per day.
