Service Technician -- Day Shift

As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for receiving dispatched service calls and ensuring prompt response times. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair service problems as needed. Your duties will include checking syrup levels, changing flavors, and cleaning around machines to ensure product quality. Additionally, you will maintain inventory and equipment, document all work performed, and ensure that the point of sale materials remain fresh.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to dispatched service calls based on the estimated time of arrival.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot service problems.
• Conduct quality checks on products including syrup levels and machine cleanliness.
• Maintain inventory and perform maintenance on parts, tools, and vehicles.
• Document all work performed and finalize activities upon completion.
• Ensure point of sale materials are fresh and up-to-date.
• Communicate clearly with customers and co-workers.
• Handle machine movement and other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Experience with hand tools, pneumatics, and hydraulic systems.
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems and PLC control.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

• Mechanical aptitude and strong mechanical skills.
• Excellent customer relations and team interaction skills.
• Outstanding organizational and time management abilities.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Graduate of Technical or Vocational School is a plus.
• Possession of Type I, II, or higher EPA Certification is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and ability to lift 55 lbs regularly.
• Experience with ladder use for tasks requiring roof access.

Work Environment

You will work in a dynamic field service environment, which may require driving over 40% of the time. The position involves lifting heavy equipment and occasionally using ladders, ranging from step ladders to extension ladders for roof access. Steel-toed shoes are required, and uniforms will be provided. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lincoln, NE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
