A typical day blends analytical work with time in the operation. You’ll collaborate with diverse teams, solve operational challenges using data, and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced entertainment environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalytics & ModelingApply industrial engineering and analytical methods such as forecasting, process analysis, capacity analysis, and optimization techniques to support operational improvement initiativesAssist in developing and maintaining analytical models that support labor planning, staffing optimization, forecasting, and operational decision-makingAnalyze operational performance data to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvementTranslate analytical findings into actionable insights and recommendationsField Studies & Data CollectionConduct on-site observational studies to evaluate operational processes, guest flow, and workforce performanceCollect, validate, and analyze time studies, throughput data, and other operational metricsCombine field observations with data analysis to develop practical and implementable operational improvementsWorkforce ManagementContribute to Workforce Management initiatives through labor planning analysis, staffing optimization, scheduling analytics, and demand forecastingEvaluate opportunities to improve labor utilization and operational efficiencyContribute to workforce management tools, reporting, and planning processesTools, Reporting & AutomationExtract, analyze, and validate data using tools such as SQL, Snowflake, Python, Excel, and other cloud-based platformsBuild and maintain dashboards and reporting tools in Power BI and Excel to track KPIs and operational performance trendsParticipate in automation and workflow improvement initiatives that improve efficiency and data accuracyStakeholder CollaborationPartner with cross-functional teams and operational leaders to implement process improvementsCommunicate insights and recommendations through presentations, reporting, and data visualizationAssist in developing business cases and operational analyses for leadership reviewQualificationsBasic RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Management Science, Decision Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field1+ years of relevant analytical or operational experience, including internships and co-op experienceExperience conducting analytical or operational studies using business data and translating findings into actionable recommendationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insightsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with datasetsExperience with data querying or programming tools such as SQL or PythonStrong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teamsAbility to present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiencesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentPreferred QualificationsInternship or project experience in industrial engineering, operations analysis, workforce management, or process improvementFamiliarity with workforce management, labor planning, staffing optimization, or forecasting conceptsExperience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or TableauExposure to cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake, AWS, or Microsoft AzureExposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologiesExperience in theme parks, hospitality, entertainment, retail, or other high-volume operational environmentsDemonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn new analytical tools, systems, and operational processesAdditional RequirementsHybrid: Hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week.
