Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of clients' mental health needs, developing individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific goals.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Short-Term therapy within both individual and group settings.
- Facilitate dynamic therapy sessions for various demographics, including children, adolescents, couples, and families.
- Document clinical notes accurately and maintain thorough and compliant records in accordance with legal standards and ethical practices.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure holistic client care, engaging in case consultations to optimize client outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing professional development initiatives, attending workshops and conferences while maintaining knowledge of contemporary mental health issues and treatment modalities.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Our counselors work with a diverse clientele, many of whom face barriers to accessing traditional mental health services. Clients may present with a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relational issues. Qualifications
- Master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
- Current and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania.
- A minimum of two years of direct counseling experience, ideally within a clinical or telehealth setting.
- Demonstrated proficiency and keen understanding of legal and ethical standards concerning mental health practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
- A proven track record of collaborating effectively with healthcare teams and multidisciplinary professionals.
- Technologically savvy, with proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and teletherapy platforms.
Preferred Experience
- Specialization or certification in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance use disorders is highly valued.
- Experience in providing group therapy or workshops as part of mental health treatment.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary in the range of USD 70,000 – 90,000, commensurate with experience and client caseload.
