Job Title Program Specialist III – Foster Care Review Board Hiring Salary $51,514.00 annualized ($24.77 hourly) Closing Date All positions are open until filled. Position Summary The Foster Care Review Board (FCRB) Program Specialist III facilitates citizen review boards that review cases of children placed in out-of-home care. This position is responsible for preparing and scheduling assigned cases; providing notice to interested parties; facilitating the exchange of information during each review; writing recommendation reports; recruiting potential board members; assisting with onboarding and coaching; attending State Board meetings and community outreach; maintaining data; facilitating board meetings; scheduling cases; coordinating case review; preparing reports; taking statements; assisting supervisors and program manager; educating the public; developing and implementing training for volunteers and staff. Minimum Requirements This position requires a bachelor’s degree in public administration, court administration, social science, or a related field, and two years of experience in a related field, or equivalent. The successful candidate must know Arizona laws and policies pertaining to foster care; know Department of Economic Security and Department of Child Safety procedures; understand group dynamics and facilitation; work effectively with diverse stakeholders; lead projects and use project management techniques; multitask and handle last-minute changes; professionally facilitate boards; have excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and strong organization. Selection Process Applicants must be authorized to work full-time in the United States. Only applicants whose backgrounds most closely meet the needs of the position may be invited to interview. The process may include first and second round panel interviews. This is a regular, full-time, exempt position.
