What You'll Do:

• Perform MRI scans for outpatient, inpatient, ER, community hospital, and ICU settings.
• Operate Siemens Avanto 1.5 Tesla MRI scanners with expertise in IV starts and patient positioning.
• Float within scope to meet department needs across different facilities, including Mercy Coon Rapids and Mercy Unity campuses.
• Provide excellent patient care by ensuring safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation within Epic (Excellian) system.
• Adhere to departmental protocols, including occasional on-call duty every Wednesday night and every third weekend.
• Support the clinical team with technical expertise in radiology and cardiology imaging.

What You Need:

• Required:
  • ARRT-R certification and BLS certification
  • Minimum of 1 year MRI experience
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including on-call and potential weekend coverage
• Preferred:
  • Experience in outpatient, inpatient, ER, and ICU environments
  • Ability to float between facilities as needed

About the Assignment:

This assignment is at a prominent teaching hospital with 149 beds, classified as a Level 4 trauma center. The MRI Technologist will operate Siemens Avanto scanners, supporting a diverse patient population across various clinical settings. The work schedule will be Monday through Friday, with the possibility for occasional weekend and on-call shifts as needed to support department operations.
