This is a Full-Time benefited position working Monday-Fridays, 8-hour shifts with outpatients. Shifts may vary as needed, but are typically 8am to 4:30pm, staggering to 6pm as needed. Position is located at Scripps Mercy San Diego Prebys Cancer Center. In this outpatient role, you will provide nursing care toadult patients with a variety of cancer diagnosesreceiving radiation therapy. You will assist physicians with procedures includingIV placement and brachytherapy treatments, while supporting patients throughout their care journey. Responsibilities include participating innew patient consultations, weekly on-treatment visits, and follow-up appointments; conductingpatient assessments; developing, implementing, and evaluatingindividualized plans of care; and providingpatient and family educationrelated to treatment, symptom management, side effects, and ongoing care needs.
