About the Position

Job Title: Imaging Support Interventional Radiology Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 08:00 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in interventional radiology. License: VA license required, pending licenses accepted. Certifications: ARRT, BLS required. Must-Have: - Experience in angioplasty, carotid stenting, and endovascular interventions. - Proficiency in operating Siemens equipment. - Ability to perform ultrasound and various vascular procedures. Description: This position is for an imaging support technician in the operating room. The technician will work in vascular interventional radiology. Duties include assisting with procedures and providing technical support within the department. Rotating call is required every fourth week. Experience with Epic charting system is necessary. Candidates must be eligible for a temporary license if their Virginia license is pending. Floating within the scope of practice may be required. Successful applicants will demonstrate competence in all required skills and procedures. References are required as part of the application process.
