About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Data Engineering to lead its enterprise data engineering function through a major technology transformation. The role oversees data platform strategy, modernization, architecture, pipelines, tooling, and delivery, while maintaining the reliability of business-critical systems. Responsibilities include scaling a modern lakehouse architecture, advancing a data-as-a-product model, and migrating and retiring legacy platforms and reporting solutions. The leader will improve engineering standards, delivery predictability, incident management, and operational resilience, while shaping the future operating model and leading a large, globally distributed team. Candidates should bring substantial experience leading enterprise data engineering and large-scale platform modernization. Strong technical leadership is required, along with the ability to balance transformation with platform stability and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders across business and technology functions. The role calls for experience developing distributed engineering organizations and fostering accountability, technical excellence, and strong execution. Applicants should be prepared to lead a large team and influence enterprise-wide data, analytics, AI, and regulatory capabilities.
