Compassionate Patient Care Tech — Blood Cancer Unit

Hourly Wage Estimate: $19.29 - $24.69 / hour. Sign‑On Bonus: $2500 (eligible new hires). As a Patient Care Technician (PCT) / CNA, you will provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care by assisting nursing staff in performing delegated basic patient care services and daily living activities under RN supervision. Responsibilities Implement nursing care plans by performing direct and indirect patient care under a licensed nurse's supervision. Obtain and record ongoing patient information throughout the cycle of care, including admissions data, vital signs, height and weight, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, blood glucose levels, intake and output, and calorie counts. Document observations, interactions, patient responses to performed activities, and any physical or behavioral changes at the time of occurrence. Assist with mobility, regularly turning and positioning patients, using walkers and other devices, and transferring patients to and from other departments. Assist patients with daily living activities such as eating, drinking, bathing, shaving, oral care, grooming, and elimination. Demonstrate caring and empathy in all interactions and advocate for patient‑ and family‑centered approaches. Qualifications Completion of training and demonstration of competency in one or more specialized functions within scope. CNA certification. At least 1 year of experience in an acute care setting.
