Progressive Care Nurse

Role: Progressive Care Nurse Responsibilities: Provide direct patient care within the RN scope, assess and evaluate patient needs, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and document patient conditions. Utilize therapeutic communication to maintain a safe environment, identify nursing problems, and participate in performance improvement activities. When acting as charge nurse, oversee daily operations, assign staff based on acuity, serve as a clinical resource, and respond to requests promptly. Educate patients and families as part of a multidisciplinary team to support patient care goals. Qualifications & Skills: Must be a Registered Nurse from an accredited school, licensed with the Tennessee Board of Nursing, and current BLS certification. ACLS certification required within 6 months. Preferably, have at least one year of clinical nursing experience.
