CERTIFIED FORKLIFT OPERATOR

Location: Odessa, TX
Employment Type: Direct Hire, Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday (weekends and overtime as needed)

Pay: $21/hr DOE

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused, and experienced Certified Forklift Operator / Heavy Equipment Operator to join our fabrication team supporting oilfield and data center building, panel, and rack production. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, experience operating multiple types of forklifts and heavy equipment, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts, telehandlers, skid steers, loaders, and other heavy equipment
• Load, unload, move, and stack materials efficiently to support fabrication and shipping needs
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
• Follow OSHA regulations and company safety procedures
• Assist with inventory management and material handling
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work with supervisors and team members to meet production goals
• Complete required paperwork and equipment inspection reports

Job Requirements

• Valid Forklift Operator Certification (required)
• Minimum 2–5 years of forklift and heavy equipment operating experience
• Experience operating multiple types of industrial equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions
• Strong understanding of workplace safety standards
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Reliable and able to work locally in the Odessa, TX area

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA Safety Training
• Experience in construction, warehouse, manufacturing, or oilfield operations
• CDL (a plus but not required)
• Knowledge of preventive equipment maintenance
