Job Title: ER Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Virginia license or compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC, CPI preferred Must-Have: Epic experience required Description: ER Registered Nurse position available. Local candidates are allowed. Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency department. Experience with a patient ratio of approximately 4:1 is required. Candidates must have charting experience with an electronic health record system. Previous charge experience is preferred. Candidates should be comfortable managing critical care procedures. Daily census is approximately 65 patients. Patient age groups include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Unit supports a wide variety of patient diagnoses including chronic illnesses and acute conditions such as strokes and sepsis. Ability to work with interdisciplinary support teams is essential. Floating may be requested based on the unit's needs. Specialty experience within the last year is required. Candidates should prepare to interview with hiring managers.
