Senior System Administrator
7+ years of RedHat Linux and Windows administration and troubleshooting sound experience and knowledge in enterprise level RH Linux and Windows upgrades.
Designing, installing, configuring, maintaining and testing server OS and related utilities.
Builds, package installs, performance tuning (kernel parameters and server/network parameters).
To be responsible for managing technology in complex projects, providing technical guidance and ensuring successful delivery of solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing technical guidance to a team of developers, enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity.
- Conducting comprehensive code reviews, establishing and overseeing quality assurance processes, performance optimization, implementation of best practices and coding standards to ensure successful delivery of complex projects.
- Ensuring process compliance in the assigned module and participating in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).
- Collaborating with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables and accordingly preparing and submitting status reports for minimizing exposure & closure of escalations.
