Medical Disability Evaluator - Physician

Job Type: Independent Contractor (1099)
Schedule: 2-5 days per week | 8-hour sessions | Weekdays & Weekends
Locations: Lake Charles, LA and Hopkinsville, KY - one day per week

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced, detail-oriented Physicians to perform high-quality medical disability compensation evaluations in accordance with clinical, regulatory, and organizational standards.

This is an evaluation-only role and does not involve prescribing medications, active treatment, or ongoing continuity of care.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough, structured disability compensation evaluations .
Perform clinical assessments and document findings accurately using standardized templates and guidelines.
Prepare clear, evidence-based medical opinions and causation analyses supported by clinical evidence and applicable regulatory standards.
Complete evaluation reports accurately and within required timelines.
Ensure all evaluations and documentation comply with applicable federal, state, and organizational requirements .
Conduct patient assessments using virtual telehealth platforms when applicable.

Required Qualifications

MD or DO degree .
Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of residence.
Board Eligible or Board Certified .
Strong clinical documentation and attention to detail.
Comfortable using technology and conducting virtual patient assessments.
Ability to work independently and maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance.
Secure, private, quiet workspace with reliable high-speed internet access to maintain HIPAA compliance .

Position Details

Employment Type: Independent Contractor (1099)
Schedule: 8-hour sessions, 2-5 days per week based on availability.
Days: Weekdays and weekends.
Locations: Lake Charles, LA and Hopkinsville, KY, with one day per week required in the specified location.
