Job Description
Title
Outpatient Oncology Infusion RN

Schedule
Primary schedule: 5x8s, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM
Alternate: 4x9s, 8:00 AM-5:30 PM

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year nursing experience
- Acute care med-surg oncology experience required
- Outpatient oncology experience preferred, strong chemotherapy experience expected
- Required: BLS
- Preferred: OCN

Roles & Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy infusions (continuous and bolus) and oral chemotherapy.
- Manage central lines, PICC lines, and ports, including blood draws.
- Operate infusion pumps and initiate IV starts.
- Recognize and manage complications such as extravasation, cytotoxic spills, sepsis, tumor lysis syndrome, hemorrhage, and spinal cord compression.
- Provide transfusion care and support outpatient infusion workflows.

Compliance / Notes
- Previous permanent staff are not permitted to work as travel staff.
- References: 2 references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years are required during compliance.
- Pre-start modules typically require ~16 hours to complete prior to starting.
